How can a game increase inclusivity in the workplace?

Game about autism and employment

Serious games are not only an effective way to teach people new things; with the right gameplay, they are also excellent for fostering mutual understanding and empathy. This is especially true for educational board and card games, which often focus on discussion and collaboration. However, digital games are also well-suited for achieving social goals. How? This is clearly demonstrated by the ASES game, which is part of an international educational curriculum for vocational training.

ASES is a digital scenario-based game designed to help managers better understand and empathize with employees and job applicants with autism. The game guides them in adjusting their procedures and conversations so that individuals with autism are more frequently given the opportunity to showcase their skills and talents in the workplace.
